On February 12th, grades 4 and above were welcomed to the start of a new club to meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The new group of potential chess masters received instruction on the basics of the game or refined their strategy with their coach, Mr. Michael Pastel. The club is scheduled through June 10th and, with the health and safety of our children a top priority, and in keeping with recommendations given the ongoing COVID-19 developments, will resume as soon as possible. New members are invited to join in.
